This is my first interview with a career artist, and I couldn’t have picked a more fascinating subject—Parker Thornton, an artist, photographer, and adventurer whose work blends beauty with technical mastery.
Great piece. It's an inspiring journey of committed decisions, exploration, endurance, and becoming acquainted with business along with art. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks! I still feel so impatient with my writing and art practice, so it was good to hear Parker's thoughts on this subject and understand his career trajectory.
A really interesting read, thank you Shagun. I’ve just subscribed!
Nicely done! I was fully engaged. I understand the points being made from the artist's perspective. You summed it up well.
thank you for conducting and sharing this interview! it was inspirational on my end, and the sign i needed to keep the faith in my own journey.
I'm glad you enjoyed it and found it inspiring. I think the world has become increasingly impatient. Anything good takes time.
I'm printing the 10 things and it's going on my inspiration board.
Thank you!! I found his interview very inspiring as well!
An inspiring story with good advice - thank you.

I agree. I'm also impatient with my own art production because it's momentarily on hold as I do some skill acquiring.
But that interview supports our feeling that experimentation and self discovery are part of the process of the artist. We're doing great🤜🏾🤛🏾
A lovely gentle interview.
Glad you enjoyed it!
