I find this distinction between pressure and fragmentation very strong. Pressure can sometimes focus the work, but only when there is already a structure protecting the vision. Without that protection, it becomes only noise.
Amen! Even Lewitt's solution to the creativity-under-pressure problem was an example of creativity--brilliant! I am against busyness. Formally. Creativity is the lifeblood of my business, and busyness destroys it.
